Plan Details
Service Description
This AGL NBN plan includes a Fixed Wireless residential broadband service and optional home phone service over the National Broadband Network. Offering speeds up to 12x faster than an ADSL connection with constant usage monitoring to prevent congestion before it happens.
NBN Fixed Wireless services are delivered by radio communications via NBN towers that transmit a signal directly to a small outdoor antenna installed on your property.
Equipment Requirement
You’ll need an nbn compatible modem to set-up your connection. You can bring your own modem (BYO) or you can purchase a modem from AGL for an upfront payment (which will appear on your first invoice) or on a Device Payment Plan DPP over 12 or 24 months (please see the Device Payment Plan terms on AGL website for more details).
AGL is not responsible for any BYO modem that does not work on the nbn or AGL network, and they may not be able to support every device or do usual tests to check if your nbn service is working properly.
Other Features
- Bundle and save: you will get a monthly discount on your chosen AGL nbn plan from the date your service is activated so long as you keep your AGL Energy plan (gas or electricity) active and in your name.
- Change your plan: you can change at any time, up to once a month, with no fee.
- AGL Home Phone plan: Optional home phone plan available for $10/mth extra, AGL modem required.
- Certified carbon neutral: Your plan is carbon neutral, certified by Climate Active, at no extra cost.
Service Availability
This service is only available within an nbnCo serviced area. To find out the latest details on nbnTM availability, please check on the AGL website.
Typical download speeds for AGL nbn plans (7pm-11pm) are based on past measurements across a range of locations and connection technologies. There may be times when your connection won’t achieve these speeds. If that happens and they can’t fix the issue, we can move you over to a lower speed plan so you only pay for the speeds your connection can deliver. Typical download speeds for AGL nbn plans (7pm-11pm) may increase or decrease over time and aren’t guaranteed minimum speeds.
