Service Description
This Skymesh NBN plan includes a Fixed Wireless broadband service over the NBN network which is dedicated to providing broadband connectivity to regional and remote Australia.
NBN Fixed Wireless services are delivered by radio communications via NBN towers that transmit a signal directly to a small outdoor antenna installed on your home.
Equipment Requirement
This plan requires you to have an NBN compatible modem/router. You can purchase an NBN modem from Skymesh or you may choose to BYO modem.

Service Availability
This plan is only available on Standard Plus Speed. Your maximum throughput will be lower than the Peak Information Rate and can be affected by: overheads imposed by Ethernet and other protocols you use such as TCP/IP, the Internet server you are accessing, the network between Skymesh and the server you are accessing, the network between Skymesh and your service, and local factors such as the performance of your computer equipment including your network router and wireless network.
If you have a medical alarm, security alarm or EFTPOS terminal, please contact your existing providers to discuss your needs and, if possible, migrate these services to the nbn® network. Skymesh does not provide support for these specialised services.
nbn® does not include a battery backup service for Fixed Wireless so, during a mains power disruptions, you will not be able to use the service to make emergency phone calls. It is strongly recommended that you always have the ability to make emergency phone calls. Keeping a charged mobile phone close by might be one way of maintaining that ability.
