Service Description

These plans from ALDImobile are Prepaid plan bolt-ons. This is an optional prepaid add-on pack for customers who have their own compatible mobile handset, an activated ALDImobile SIM card and a current ALDImobile Pay As You Go (“PAYG”) base plan.

Your prepaid credit expires and any unused allowances are forfeited at the end of your ‘credit validity period’ which is the earlier of: 30 days or when you purchase another Mobile Plan.

Speeds

The download speed is capped at 250Mbps for 5G plans. Typical speeds will often be lower, as mobile speeds vary due to the many factors listed below. Beyond the maximum potential speed for your selected plan, a speed cap does not indicate any difference relative performance for a specific plan compared to another plan with a different speed cap.

ALDImobile uses parts of Telstra’s 5G and 4G mobile networks. The service provides 5G coverage reaching at least 75% of the Australian population.

International Inclusions

This plan offers unlimited calls and SMS to 20 selected countries: Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, UK, USA. This plan also includes a bundle of minutes for international calls and 50 SMS to selected international countries. Included international calls are to eligible numbers and countries only. Once the included minutes are used, any further calls will be charged against your Pay As You Go credit.

Calls and messages to international numbers and other non-standard calls cannot be made using your Mobile Plan. They can only be made using your available Pay As You Go credit. Refer to the ALDImobile website to find the prices for international calls and Pay As You Go call rates.

My ALDImobile

Log in to recharge your Pay As You Go credit, add a Mobile Plan, set your auto recharge preference, check your balance, view your usage and update your details. You can also check your balance using the ALDImobile app for smartphones and by SMS.

Data Roll-over

Your unused data allowance in your credit validity period, including any 1GB Data Add -ons, may be rolled over indefinitely with no expiry up to a maximum of 30GB but only if an equal or higher priced eligible Mobile Plan is acquired within 24 hours of expiry of the previous Mobile Plan. Otherwise, unused data and accumulated rollover data are forfeited. Any accumulated rollover data in excess of 30GB will not roll over and will be forfeited. A Mobile Plan's standard data allowance is consumed before any available rollover data.

Data Add-on

You can purchase 1GB Data Add-on for $10 or 3GB Data Add-on for $15 at any time you like as long as the maximum additional data at any one time does not exceed 40GB. Once you have used up your Data Add-on, you can choose to purchase another Data Add-on (up to 5) or you can continue to use data on your phone provided you have Pay As You Go credit on your service. Data will then be charged at 5c per MB.

International Roaming

International roaming is available in selected countries. Before you can use your phone overseas you must log into My ALDImobile and enable your service for international roaming. PAYG credit is required to use international roaming. The charge to send SMS, make and receive standard calls, as well as using data when roaming are higher and will vary for each applicable country. You should be aware that charges for usage whilst you are roaming are much higher than charges at home in Australia.

Things to Know

Plan Exclusions All non-personal, commercial, machine-to-machine or overseas use is excluded. Standard calls exclude calls to international numbers, satellite numbers and premium numbers (e.g. 19xx numbers). Standard national SMS and MMS excludes messages to international numbers, satellite numbers and premium numbers. Standard MMS excludes video MMS. Calls to some SENSIS numbers (1234, 12455, and 12456), and 19xx numbers are not available on ALDImobile

30 Selected International Calling Countries for Landline and Mobile: Use your included minutes to call landlines and mobiles in these countries: Andorra, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, Cyprus, Denmark, French Guiana, Greece, Guam, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Pakistan, Peru, Puerto Rico, Romania, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, and Sweden.

Selected International Calling Countries for Landline only: The list shows the countries where you can use your included minutes to call landlines. If you wish to call mobile numbers in these countries you will need to have Pay As You Go credit. Argentina, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Turkey. These countries may change from time to time, so it’s important to check that your chosen country is included before making the call.
