Vaya mobile fresh adds a tonne of data to no-contract plans

Vaya mobile has overhauled its SIM-only plans, adding 70GB of extra data across five plans. All plans are contract-free and now come with:

3GB for $16 (was 2GB)
18GB for $24 (was 6GB)
38GB for $36 (was 15GB)
50GB for $44 (was 30GB)
64GB for $56 (was 50GB)

The extra data makes Vaya plans much more competitive across the market. On almost every data tier, Vaya's plans are the cheapest SIM-only contract-free offering.

While the value of Vaya's refreshed plans is certainly impressive, it's worth noting that there are better value deals around if you're willing to sign a 12-month contract. Here's a look at a few contract SIM-only deals on the 18GB data tier:

During the plan refresh, Vaya also killed off its 6-month contract plans, which came with:

8GB for $24
20GB for $36
40GB for $44
60GB for $56

Vaya mobile is owned by amaysim and offers coverage on the Optus network. All plans come with unlimited talk and text.
