OVO plan refresh: get 50GB for $34.95 per month!

OVO Mobile's latest plan refresh is home to the best SIM-only deals we've seen in quite some time: $34.95 per month gets you 50GB on a 30-day recharge.

The plan also includes unlimited talk and text and 600 international minutes to selected countries. And since OVO is a prepaid provider, the plan is completely contract free. Here are the full details:

Existing OVO customers will automatically get an upgraded allowance next time they recharge.

So just how do these plans compare? In most cases, they're roughly on par with what you'd expect for the price-point. OVO's 50GB recharge well and truly stands out, however. The closest you'll get is Think Mobile's $37 per month, which includes 40GB and requires you to commit to a 12-month contract. Jenee Mobile will do 50GB for $39.90 per month, but again, you'll need to commit to a full year.
