All but three Superloop NBN plans are getting more expensive

Superloop is putting up the price of all but three of its NBN plans as a result of NBN Co's upcoming wholesale pricing changes. Only Superloop's NBN 100, NBN 500, and NBN 750 plans will evade the increase on July 1.

Here's how pricing is changing for Superloop's NBN plans:

Speed Tier	Old Pricing	New Pricing
NBN 12	$59 per month	$62 per month
NBN 25	$72 per month	$78 per month
NBN 50	$85 per month	$89 per month
NBN 100	$95 per month	$95 per month
NBN 100/40	$99 per month	$102 per month
NBN 250/100	$99 per month	$102 per month
NBN 500	$95 per month	$95 per month
NBN 750	$104 per month	$104 per month
NBN 1000	$109 per month	$114 per month
NBN 2000	$165 per month	$168 per month
Fixed Wireless NBN 100	$89 per month	$92 per month
Fixed Wireless NBN 250	$95 per month	$98 per month
Fixed Wireless NBN 400	$105 per month	$108 per month

These pricing changes will apply to new and existing Superloop customers. The pricing for new customers will go live from July 1, while existing customers will pay the increased amount from their first bill next month.

Like Telstra and Optus, Superloop is excluding NBN 100 and NBN 500 plans from price increases. This will shrink the gap between NBN 50 pricing and the faster plans from $10 per month to just $6 per month, which could, in turn, make upgrading to them more compelling.

For plans going up in price, Superloop has bumped most of its offerings up by $3 per month. The exceptions to this are NBN 50, which is going up by $4 per month, NBN 1000, which is going up by $5 per month, and NBN 25, which is going up by $6 per month.

While NBN prices are going up, many providers still offer honeymoon discounts: savings for new customers that tend to last between six months and a year. Most NBN plans are contract-free, so jumping between discounted plans is a relatively easy way to lower your NBN bill.
