What's the cheapest way to pre-order an iPhone Duo?

When will I get my iPhone Duo pre-order?

If you pre-order your iPhone Duo between October 15 and the October 23 release date, you should be among the first people in Australia to receive one. Just keep in mind that wait times for more popular models can blow out quickly, so if you want to get an iPhone Duo as early as possible, pre-order sooner rather than later.

People living in major metropolitan areas may very well get theirs on release day, though it might take a couple of days longer than that. If you live further out, it can depend on your location.

Can I still get an iPhone Duo if I don't pre-order?

You can absolutely still get an iPhone Duo if you don't pre-order. Although it may take a little longer. You could always brave the release day lines at an Apple Store, but you shouldn't have to wait too long if you buy one online through a mobile provider or retailer.
